Camden, Dallas & the Aquarium

A few shots from a recent trip to London. Was fortunate enough to see City & Color at the Camden Roundhouse AMAAAZING! Followed by a trip to the Sealife Aquarium and the Armistice fireworks display over the river Thames.

These images were taken at the Tredegar House Vintage Car Rally, an annual event held by the Gwent branch of Leukaemia Research.

Something that is very close to my heart

Since the death of my mother to Acute Myeloid Leukaemia in 2008, Leukaemia Research is a charity that is very close to my heart and my families.
Whilst becoming actively involved in fundraising, I also began photographing events a few months after my mother died, after being approached to do so by the South Wales branch of LRF. http://leukaemialymphomaresearch.org.uk/

Firstly a charity bikeathon and cake sale organised in Ogmore Vale.

A contemplative, cold, sleeting day...

So as the title suggests today has been a day of reflection. I have been looking through an endless amount of photographs ive taken over the years that are languishing in albums or even worse in the depths of an external hard drive.
So I thought id share a few.....

These images were taken on a photoshoot in Cardiff Bay. A location chosen for its architecture amongst other things.

The boy came along to assist and was lucky enough to have a mini masterclass in the wonders of medium format photography.

vinyl

So....

After a few glasses of red I have decided to finally start this blog. Inspired particularly by the fact that I have packed up all my vinyls into boxes and sent them home as im moving away for a while. An unpleasant day, im sure you'll agree.
